The news comes from SunDevisSource.com a self-proclaimed source for Arizona State University news. The report says that Billy Napier ASU's offensive coordinator and newly promoted associate head coach for the Sun Devils will make the transition over to Cajun Country.

According to the website, Napier was offered a five-year contract to be head coach at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The website says that he has been offered in excess of $900,000 annually for the position. It is unclear if Napier has accepted that position.

In the position, Former Head Coach Mark Hudspeth made a little over 1-million dollars annually.

There has been no official word from University of Louisiana on the choice of head coach after the departure of Hudspeth.
