IPSO: Body of woman found in New Iberia

Iberia Parish deputies say they are still investigating after the body of a woman was found in New Iberia Thursday morning. 

Deputies say that they found the body of a 37-year-old woman on Indest Street near Henry Street. Public Information Office Wendell Raborn says the incident is being investigated as a suspicious death. 

The woman has not been identified. 

KATC will continue to look into this incident and update with more information as it becomes available.
