Forecast starting to change

Posted: Updated:

Thursday's forecast will be fairly quiet with temperatures reaching a little higher then they did on Wednesday and a few more clouds making their way across the region.

The clouds aren't expected to produce any kind of rain on Thursday but the atmosphere will be filling up with moisture leading to what will eventually be a rainy end to the weekend.

While Thursday will be mild for this time of year the temperatures are expected to drop on Friday with highs only getting into the low 50s with the wind chill staying in the 40s.

Clouds will arrive on Thursday but they will thicken up through the day on Friday making for a very dreary and chilly wrap up to the work week, with no improvement to start the weekend.

The most active part of the forecast will be Sunday with a progressive disturbance kicking up showers and thunderstorms starting Saturday night and continuing into Sunday.

Sunday won't have all the ingredients for severe weather but that being said one or two severe thunderstorms will be possible so attention will need to be paid to the radar.
