ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. -

A second body, a male, has been found in a St. Landry Parish lake.  Deputies have also recovered a vehicle belonging to a woman found yesterday.

The Sheriff's Department in a short press conference says that during the investigation into the body found in the Lake, tracks found at the scene directed investigators to a submerged vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office says the body was found inside a 2007 Ford Taurus. The body of a white male was discovered inside. Sheriff Guidroz says the two bodies are connected but says that connection is not clear. Alexandria police are headed to the scene to help with the investigation. The woman's body that was found Monday morning is part of the Alexandria Police's investigation into a missing person.

The Sheriff's Office has identified the woman found in the lake as 21-year-old Lia Ali Kazan of Shreveport. More here
