After another chilly night with lows in the mid to upper 30s Acadiana will see a pleasant, spring-like warm up as highs will climb into the upper 60s Monday afternoon.
Unfortunately the warm up will be short lived as a cold front swings down into the southeast Monday night into Tuesday morning dropping highs about 10° back into the upper 50s and lower 60s Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday morning lows will be rather chilly again dropping down into the low to mid 30s with areas of patchy frost possible.
After the cold start temperatures will only reach the upper 50s under partly cloudy skies Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday warmer temperatures return as winds flip out of the south off the Gulf pushing highs into the mid 60s.
But like Monday the warmer temperatures will only last a day as another cold front dives down into Acadiana Thursday night bringing with it another round of cooler air.
Thus highs on Friday fall back into the mid to upper 50s.
Saturday the temperature roller coaster continues as highs jump back up into the mid to upper 60s with the slight chance(30-40%) for scattered showers late Saturday night into Sunday morning as our next system heads our way.
Behind this system temperatures level off in the mid to upper 60s with a spring-like weather pattern setting up for Acadiana creating the possibility for a few stray showers each afternoon as we move into the early part of the following week.
