St. Landry Crime Stoppers: December 6, 2017

Posted: Updated:

Deputy Bryan Wiles of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office returns to Crime Stoppers and is asking for your help in locating the suspects involved in the passing of counterfeit money in the Eunice area.

On November 30, 2017, deputies received two complaints of counterfeit twenty dollars bills totaling $80.00 dollars at the 24/7 and the Cash Magic Truck Stops.  Then on December 5, 2017, the Cash Magic received an additional $120.00 dollars in counterfeit money.  All ten counterfeit bills have the same serial number printed on it.

The serial numbers read MK19225378B and are in the domination of twenty dollar bills. Area merchants are urged to pay closer attention to cash and mark all bills coming into their stores.

Download our P3 app and "tap the app" on your mobile device to submit your anonymous tips. Be alert, be safe, and God Bless you.  On behalf of Crime Stoppers and Deputy Brian Wiles, I am Major Eddie Thibodeaux.
