A Lafayette Parish grand jury has indicted an Oklahoma man in connection with a September attack on a Lafayette woman.

Devon Anthony Hill, 22, was indicted on charges of aggravated kidnapping, two counts first degree rape, two counts sexual battery and home invasion. He's being held in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center in lieu of $600,000 bond.

The indictment was handed up in connection with a September incident in Lafayette. Police said the suspect broke into a woman's home and assaulted her, forced her to drive to an ATM to withdraw money, then fled in her car.

Police found Bell and arrested him, allegedly after identifying him using surveillance footage.

Bell is a native of Oklahoma, who moved into the area just days prior to the incident, police said.
