Duson, Scott police organize toy drive with State Farm

Duson and Scott Police Department along with Brian Schlesinger State Farm are collecting unwrapped toys for the less fortunate until December 21. They are asking for the following items:

  • Books
  • Jewelry
  • Barbie/Princesses
  • Legos
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Skates/Rollerblade
  • Scooter
  • Skateboard
  • Action Figures
  • Baby Dolls
  • Cars/Trucks
  • Educational Toys
  • Board Games
  • Sports equipment 
  • CDs 
  • Stuffed Animals
  • Infant Toys

For those looking to participate, you can drop off items at the following locations: 

Brian Schlesinger State Farm - 5808 Cameron St., Scott
Duson City Hall - 498 Toby Mouton Rd., Duson
Scott Police Dept. - 129 Lions Club Road
Don's Specialty Meats - 730 I-10 S. Frontage Rd., Scott
Early's Cajun Supermarket - 1410 St. Mary St, Scott
Gautreaux's Donuts - 608 Westgate Rd., Lafayette
Cashway Pharmacy - 5900 Cameron St., Scott
Champagne's  Supermarket - 9103 Cameron St., Duson
They are requesting that the items are unused and in good condition.
