Thomas resigns at Vermilion Catholic

Posted: Updated:

Vermilion Catholic football coach Brady Thomas resigned Friday after one season.

Thomas led the Eagles to a 10-3 season and the state semifinals. He told KATC that he had family matters and job opportunities back home, and felt it was the right decision to move back to Texas.

Thomas came to Acadiana as a quarterback for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. He played for UL from 2008-2012. He also spent time as an assistant with the team.
