Letters to Santa

Posted: Updated:

Tis the season for holiday traditions.

One of the most cherished for children is writing a letter to Santa. A lot of excitement and anticipation is created by the popular activity. This Christmas, the Kids Specialty Center at Women’s & Children’s Hospital and KATC TV-3 are helping to make this time-honored tradition even more memorable for Acadiana kids who wish to write Letters to Santa. Download your free Santa Letter Template here

Once completed drop off your letters in the special Santa Letters mailboxes at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Kids Specialty Center or the KATC TV-3 studio before December 14th.

Then on Thursday, December 14th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. join us for cocoa, cookies, and photos with Santa at the Kids Specialty Center on the campus of Women’s & Children’s Hospital. Led by a Lafayette PD motorcycle escort, Santa will arrive in style on a Lafayette firetruck. Get your picture taken and have the opportunity to deliver your letter in person.

United Blood Services will also be on site for a special holiday blood drive along with Louisiana State Police Troop I to give out car seat safety information and advice. At 7:30 p.m., Santa will collect all the letters and it's back to the North Pole he'll go.

Start writing those letters to Santa now. Happy holidays from your friends at the Kids Specialty Center and KATC TV-3!
