Several Acadiana musicians nominated for 2018 Grammy Awards

Nominations for the 60th annual Grammy Awards were announced Tuesday morning and several area artists can now add Grammy Nominee to its list of accolades.

Zydeco band Dwayne Dopsie And The Zydeco Hellraisers' album Top Of The Mountain and Lost Bayou Ramblers' album Kalenda are nominated in the Best Regional Roots Music Album category, for the 2018 Grammys.

That Grammy category includes Hawaiian, Native American, polka, zydeco and Cajun music genres.

Acadiana's Sonny Landreth, is also nominated in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category.
      
The winners of the 60th annual Grammy Awards will be revealed January 28, 2018.
