St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Deputy Jacoby Shaw of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in solving a burglary.      

On November 13, 2017,  diamond rings, necklaces, watches, and earrings were stolen from a home located in the 1300 block of M.L.K. Jr. Drive in Opelousas. Detectives say the suspect broke into the home through the carport door after 6:45 am. The thief also stole a pair of Nike size nine shoes and $1,000 in cash.  

The total loss of value was listed at more than $5,000 dollars.
