No one has been arrested in the weekend shooting on I-10, says Rayne Chief of Police Carroll J. Stelly.

The chief offered the following statement:

"The two individuals that sustained gunshot wounds are recovering. Detectives have consulted with prosecutors of the 15th Judicial District Attorney’s office and will turn over the case on Monday November 20, 2017. No charges have been filed as of this date."

The shooting happened Saturday; two people were shot, allegedly while driving on Interstate 10. At the time, the chief said the shooting arose from a personal dispute between the ex-husband and new boyfriend of a local woman.
