A traffic incident Wednesday left Highland Road in Baton Rouge a little tipsy.
WBRZ, whose station is located just outside where the incident occurred, reports that around 1:20 p.m. a crash involving a beer truck caused several cases of beer spilled onto the roadway.
The Baton Rouge station reports that witnesses reported that the truck was exiting the Mississippi River Bridge when it came to a sudden stop. The beer cases then broke through the front of the trailer causing the mess.
Workers were able to clear the scene and the roadway was reopened to traffic.
