After starting a search for the vehicle, officers located the suspect vehicle at Hwy 14 and 12th Street and attempted a stop. Police pursued the vehicle which stuck another vehicle at Ryan Street and Broad Street. The suspect caused enough damage to the vehicle to force a stop.

The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Maximillian Alexis Perez, was arrested and taken into custody. He was charged with DWI 5th offense.   Due to Perez's refusal to submit to the chemical analysis for alcohol, Officers obtained a search warrant for blood alcohol. Perez was also booked with DWI refusal and possession of CDS I and multiple traffic charges.
