Jambalaya the Musical returns to Lafayette for one night

Posted: Updated:

Jambalaya the Musical returns to Lafayette to the Heymann Center for one night before going on tour around the country in 2018. The performance will be held November 16 at 7:30 pm.

The show had several workshop performances in Lafayette last year before heading off to New Orleans to premiere at the Orpheum Theater where the production is currently running.

The musical, produced in Lafayette, is considered a "cajun-flavored" musical full of the heart, soul, and characters one would find while spending time in Cajun country. Put together with the help of Emmy award winner Joe Stewart and Grammy winner Jeff Barry, the musical highlights community bonds in the culture of south Louisiana.

All seats are $35. Tickets can be purchased at the Heymann Center box office.

Jambalaya the Musical will run at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans until December 23.
