Distinguished Veteran's Day Forecast

Posted: Updated:

The weather pattern will remain outstanding for Acadiana's Veteran's Day with a salute from abundant sunshine and seasonably cool temperatures.

After a morning start in the low-mid 40s look for afternoon temperatures to top out in the low to mid-70s under mostly sunny skies.

A few clouds will roll into the area from the east Saturday night into Sunday moderating our temperatures closer to the mid-upper 50s for Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Look for partly to at times mostly cloudy skies and seasonable temperatures Sunday, with highs in the mid-upper 70s accompanied by a very slight chance of an isolated afternoon shower, at 10%.

Next week looks rather quiet, and in the "sweet, no air conditioner or heater needed zone" with mostly sunny skies accompanied by daily temperatures topping out in the mid-70s, while night-time lows stay mostly in the mid-upper 50s.

A few more clouds and warmer temperatures can be expected toward the end of the week with highs approaching the lower 80s Friday ahead of our next front that arrives along with the chance of a few scattered showers Saturday.
