Sergeant Stephen Guidry with Iberia Crime Stoppers tell us that on October 31, deputies were called to the Teche Federal Savings bank on Jane Street for an armed robbery.

Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office immediately swarmed the area in full force but were unable to locate the suspect, Guidry said.

The suspect is described as a dark complected black male standing approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and grey pants. This male was armed with a handgun and can be seen pointing it at tellers. The suspect was last seen fleeing South of the bank toward Main St. with an undisclosed amount of money.
