Ten Acadiana priests and a team of seminarians will compete and show off their cooking expertise and prepare their own authentic Gumbo for tasting and voting. You will be the judge to decide which priest is the best cook as they go "Collar to Collar" in a fun competition. There will be live music by La Recolte.

Your $50 ticket will include entry to the event at Vermilionville, all you can eat gumbo, beer by LA 31, live music, dancing, and an onsite buffet. You'll be able to taste and vote for the best gumbo in the culinary competition and select the "People's Choice Award".  Votes cost $1 and all proceeds will support the mission of John Paul the Great Academy to provide tuition assistance.
