Fine Fall finish to the week

Posted: Updated:
Friday Morning Lows Friday Morning Lows

Acadiana will get a spectacular Fall finish to the week with lots of sunshine and seasonably cool temperatures.

After a morning start in the low-mid 40s, expect wall to wall sunshine to warm us up into the upper 60s to near 70 for a high Friday afternoon.

The weather pattern will continue to be very nice into the weekend with mostly sunny skies Saturday and partly cloudy skies Sunday.

Highs this weekend will moderate back into the mid-70s, but a weakening front late Sunday will insure any additional warm-up will be further delayed into the latter part of next week.

A few isolated showers may pop-up Sunday afternoon, but rain chances should stay near 20% or less.

The weather pattern should remain dry and pleasant for much of next week with fair to partly cloudy skies along with seasonable temperatures ranging from the mid-50s at night into the mid-70s during the day.

Afternoon highs may get closer to 80 degrees ahead of our next front Friday, with the front crossing the area Friday night.

The next best chance of rain for Acadiana will likely come with the aforementioned Friday front, which could be either late Friday or Friday night.

This next front should set-up fair and cooler weather for the weekend before Thanksgiving...but it remains way too early to tell how the weather will fare for the holiday period.
