Clouds slowly clearing on a cool day

Posted: Updated:

It was a soggy start to the day on Thursday as the trailing showers behind the front finally moved across the region during the early morning hours, those showers have since cleared out.

The clouds will be a little slower to clear so expect cloudy skies early on with the skies gradually clearing during the day and by the time we get to Thursday evening we should be looking at some sunshine.

As is typically the case behind these cold fronts, temperatures will be chilly Thursday afternoon likely not making it much warmer then the mid 60s and dropping into the 40s Thursday night.

Adding to the chill is going to be a strong wind from the north which will be steady around 10-15 mph and may gust a little higher, expect winds to calm overnight.

This all sets up a stunning Friday and Saturday forecast with plenty of sunshine attached to a cool and crisp series of days with humidity and warmer temperatures arriving Sunday.
