SULPHUR, La. -

The two men who were killed on Tuesday after falling from a helicopter in Calcasieu Parish have been identified.

Nicholas Gamalski, 27, and Travis Chiokai, 26, both from California, were working on electrical lines from a helicopter in Sulphur Tuesday morning, deputies say. Their safety harness was rubbing against the power lines and it snapped, and they both fell about 100 feet, deputies say. They were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Foul play is not suspected, the deaths appear to be accidental, according to a spokeswoman for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
