Heart of Hospice recognizing vets in honor of Veterans Day

Heart of Hospice is recognizing the veterans at its nursing homes this week in honor of Veterans Day.

Veterans along with their families were invited to a Veterans Day ceremony at the New Iberia Manor.
     
Several more ceremonies will be held throughout this week in Eunice and Lafayette.
 
"Its also something that we do every time a veteran comes on to Heart of Hospice program," said Kayla Trahan, Heart of Hospice.  "We do a private ceremony with them and their family and pin them and present them with a certificate."
