Iberia Parish victim in a home invasion says suspect wearing a clown mask attacked him

Iberia Parish deputies say they are investigating a home invasion where the victim was apparently attacked by a man wearing a mask which resembled a clown.

According to Major Wendell Raborn, the 55-year-old male victim was in a home in the 1200 block of Oil Center Drive when he was attacked, with what he believed was a machete.  Deputies received a call around 2:30 p.m. on Monday after the victim drove himself to Iberia Medical Center. 

Several items were stolen from the victim by the unknown suspect.
