The Bayou Church Chili/ Gumbo Cook-off and Family Fun Day

A Chili/ Gumbo Cook-off and Family Fun Day will be held at The Bayou Church on Sunday, November 12 from 3 pm to 5 pm. The church is located at 2234 Kaliste Saloom Rd in Lafayette.

Over 30 teams will be cooking-up batches of chili and gumbo for all to enjoy. Several different varieties of chili and gumbo available to choose from and attendees can cast their vote for their favorite. Winners will be decided by people's choice. The event is free to attend. 

Organizers ask that attendees bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and friends to enjoy the afternoon.

Entertainment for Family Fun Day will include fun jumps, live music from Johnny Chauvin and the Mojo Band, and children's games.
