St Martin Parish Deputies arrested a third suspect in connection to reports of gunfire at a residence in St. Martinville in October.

Deputies say the incident occurred on October 23, 2017, at a residence in the 1500 block of Duchamp Road in St. Martinville. Initially arrested in the incident was 27-year-old Jamie Cole of St. Martinville who deputies accuse of being responsible for firing the shots. Cole was charged along with 31-year-old Nicholas Jones of St. Martinville.

Investigations into the incident led to the arrest of 55-year-old Jimmy Londo of St. Martinville. Police say it was determined that Jones sustained an injury to his finger as a result of Londo firing a shotgun and striking him.

Londo has been charged with the following:

  • Possession Of A Firearm By a Convicted Felon
  • Illegal Use Of A Weapon
  • Aggravated Battery
  • Illegal Weapon (Length/Auto ETC)

He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and his bond was set at $52,500.00.
