Officials investigating armed robbery of bank in New Iberia

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon, October 31 in New Iberia.  

A spokesman with the sheriff's department says a male wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, gray sweat pants and black shoes held up a bank in the 1400 block of Jane Street at gun point.  The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled the bank on a bike.
