Applebee's offering free meals to Veterans on Veteran's Day

Applebee's locations in Louisiana will be honoring veterans this year with a free meal this Veteran's Day. 

The restaurant is continuing the tradition, started 10-years-ago, of a free meal for active-duty and veterans who served in the US Military.  Applebee's restaurants nationwide anticipate serving nearly one million more free meals this Veterans Day.

Restaurant guests are asked to sign cards and dropped them off at any Louisiana location. 

Applebee's special Veterans Day menu includes seven of its signature dishes, including:

  • The American Standard Burger 
  • Butcher's Meat + Potatoes.
  • Three-Cheese Chicken Cavatappi 
  • Chicken Tenders Platter 
  • Fiesta Lime Chicken® 
  • Double Crunch Shrimp 
  • Oriental Chicken Salad

 In order to receive a free meal on Saturday, November 11, 2017, guests need to provide proof of military service, which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.
