Cool Schools: Pine Prairie High School

Posted: Updated:

Today's COOL SCHOOL is Pine Prairie High School. Pine Prairie High School hosted a Pink Out Pep Rally and pregame presentation  in commemoration of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Students decked out in their pink attire and faculty dressed up in costume to "scare away breast cancer."  Two Pine Prairie teachers and one true sports supporter from the community were honored as breast cancer survivors at the pep rally.  They are Kayren Ortego, Carolyn Deville, and Jerrimy Davenport.  Prior to the football game that night, there was a balloon launch to celebrate the lives of our community's breast cancer survivors and those who have lost their battle to breast cancer.

If you have a COOL SCHOOL, let us know. Send me an email to weather@katctv.com. Put COOL SCHOOLS in the subject line. Include a picture and a short story about why your school is COOL. We do COOL SCHOOLS every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
