It's not too late to head over to Eunice for the 3rd Annual Experience Louisiana Festival.
Unlike other festivals, the weekend event focuses on folklife traditions while celebrating components unique to southern Louisiana.
Spanning over LSU Eunice's campus, there will be several displays, live music, and of course, delicious food!
Several live demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend, including an old-time boucherie, a courir de Mardi Gras (Mardi Gras run), instrument making or basket weaving, and Cajun and Creole cooking demonstrations by professional chefs.
Louisiana Red will perform at 12:30 p.m., followed by The Savoy Family Band at 2:30 p.m.
The Experience Louisiana Festival is taking place on the grounds of LSU Eunice at 2048 Johnson Hwy. Admission is free, but there is a parking fee.
