Traffic is blocked on I-49 southbound at Exit 11 (Grand Coteau) because of an overturned 18-wheeler. 

Motorists are advised to take an alternate route while crews work to clear the roadway. 

It is unclear if anyone is injured or how long the exit will be closed.
