Tire-slashing spree causes thousands of dollars in damages

Detective Lieutenant Mark Fontenot of the St Landry Parish Sheriff's Office returns to Crime Stoppers and is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects involved in the damaging of multiple vehicles throughout St Landry Parish. 

On October 7 and 8, 2017, deputies responded to five complaints of vehicle vandalism. Suspects entered the owner's property at night and slashed the tires on their vehicles. Four of the vehicles were on Boudreaux Road and Saylock Lane in Opelousas, and the other was damaged in the 1200 block of Hwy 13 in Eunice. Altogether a total of 11 tires were slashed for a total cost of more than $3,000.
