Lake Charles Police looking for hit-and-run driver

Lake Charles Police are looking for someone who hit a motorcycle on Ryan Street Saturday and kept on driving.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of Ryan Street Saturday. The driver told them he was headed north when a car turned in front of him. The motorcycle hit the car, and the driver was injured. The driver of the car backed up and fled north on Ryan Street.

The vehicle is described as a white Volvo with pink stickers on the rear. It is missing a front bumper. The driver is described as female and black. It had a temporary tag with a partial number of 377 or 378.

The motorcycle driver had broken bones and severe lacerations and is hospitalized.

This investigation is on-going. Anyone with information should contact Sergeant Billy Creel at 491-1311.
