St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maurice sets Zydeco Dance Fundraiser

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maurice will host their Annual Zydeco Dance fundraiser on Saturday, October 7 from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.

The Zydeco Dance is the first part to St. Joseph Church’s annual fundraiser that will cover two weekends in October. The dance will take place at the W.O.W. Hall located on Highway 92 in Maurice and feature live performances from legendary Zydeco musician Geno Delafose.

Tickets are available for pre-sale with the Church for $10. Tickets will be $12 at the door.

On Saturday morning, October 14, St. Joseph Catholic Church will hold the second part of their fundraiser, a garage sale. The sale will include various items donated to the church for the drive by parishoners. The sale will begin at 6:00 a.m. in the church hall and will finish at 12:00 p.m.

The church will serve BBQ Chicken and Pork Steak dinners on Sunday, October 15 as part of their BBQ Dinner fundraiser. Dinners are $10 and can be picked up at the Church Hall or in their drive thu from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

All funds received during this two-weekend event will go towards regular church maintenance and community projects.
