Former manager accused of stealing $46K from truck stop arrested in Texas

JEFFERSON DAVIS PARISH, La. -

A former manager of a Jefferson Davis Parish truck stop was arrested in Texas for allegedly stealing thousands from the business.

Tanya Pyles, 34, of Jasper, Texas, was arrested Tuesday on an outstanding warrant for felony theft.  Pyles was the former manager of Peto's Truck Stop in Roanoke and stole more than $46,000 from the business over a period of time in 2016, according to Chief Deputy Christopher Ivey, spokesman for the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff Office. 

Pyle was booked into the parish jail with no bond.
