A Thibodaux woman has been arrested after police say she made disturbing statements about victim's family along with allegedly sending revealing images of the victim. Two others were also arrested in this case.

In August, the victim in the case allegedly received messages from 31-year-old Brandi Rothman of Vacherie on social media. Police say Rothman claimed that she was going to shoot up the home of the victim's family. The social media post went a step further, in which police say she made a graphic statement about the victim's children's heads making a nice trophy piece.

Thibodaux Police say that Rothman was allegedly upset over a social media post that the victim had posted concerning one of the other people arrested in this case, Heather Wright.

Also arrested in the case was 34-year-old Leo Oubre and 32-year-old Heather Wright both of Vacherie.

The victim in the case had allegedly shared the photo that Rothman had posted on social media with her boyfriend at the time Leo Oubre. The photo was sexually revealing in nature and was allegedly shared by Oubre. The photo ended up in the hands of Wright who then sent it to Rothman. The sharing of the photo was allegedly done without the victim's consent

Leo Oubre was arrested on September 18 by the St. James Parish Sheriff's Department and Heather Wright were arrested on September 20 by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office. Both are charged with nonconsensual disclosure of a private image.

Brandi Rothman turned herself in at the Lafourche Parish Jail on Sunday, September 24. She is charged with simple assault and nonconsensual disclosure of a private image. She bonded out shortly after.
