Baldwin Fall Fest set for this Saturday

The 2nd Annual Baldwin Fall Fest will be held this Saturday, September 23 on Main Street in Baldwin from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event was previously the Summer Fest and will feature food, music and other activities for the whole family. 

Attendees are encouraged to show up early to the festival and get their faces painted and receive health information from the Teche Action Clinic.

The festival has a full list of fun events planned:

12 p.m. Gospel Explosion will take place featuring participants for area churches. Praise and worship will last until 2 p.m.

3 p.m. the Children's Parade will begin. The parade will roll through the town of Baldwin and include appearances by the Fall Fest Royal Court.

5 p.m. local band Vibe will perform old-school R & B tunes, followed by a performance from DJ Duke and others. 

Fall Fest will host a Gala on Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m.  Tickets are still available at town hall for $20 per person. The Gala will feature a meal, DJ, live band and a presentation of court royalty.
