4th Annual 5k Boot Camp Bash

The Dreams Foundation will be hosting a 5k Boot Camp Bash on October 7. The race will is an non-timed, 5k that will take place on UL's campus. The race will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Welcome Center and meander through campus landmarks like The Swamp and The Quad. The 5k should last about an hour.

Five kid-friendly stations will be positioned along the route where you'll stop for the Boot Camp portions of the run. Tasks like, Hula hoops, jump ropes, potato sack races and hippity-hoppers will be positioned throughout the length of the run/walk. 

Registration is $30 dollars for those who want to participate, and $25 for those wanting to run virtually.

Donations are also available.

Late registration will be held at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the race.

The race was started as a way to raise money for children with special needs. The funds provide those children with special needs a place to live when they grow older.
