Of the countless people working to clean up after Hurricane Irma, the image of a nun wielding a chainsaw may not be anyone's first thought.

But as emergency crews begin the process of cleaning and removing debris, this nun is a welcome sign of selflessness and faith.

According to CNN, Sister Margaret Ann of Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School in West Kendall, Florida, knowing her school had a chainsaw, got to work cutting a downed tree that was blocking a roadway.

"There was a need, I had the means, so I wanted to help out," Sister Margaret Ann told CNN.

An off duty police officer for Miami Dade County captured the video of the nun, dressed in full habit, cutting down the tree.

Since taking the video, this simple nun has been elevated to viral status, with many thanking her for her help and dedication.

"The community will come out and help us. That's what we do," she said. "It's good."
