A photo posted by the Gainesville Police Department to their Facebook page is making women across the country turn their heads.

The selfie features three of Gainesville's "finest" officers, Nordman, Hamill and Rengering, as they prepared to work the night shift during Hurricane Irma on Sunday.

The photo quickly went viral on social media, racking up thousands of shares and likes, as well as comments that the department says, "made the chief blush."

One commenter, Hearther Groom says, "This pic is exactly why your grandmother always told you to wear clean underwear in case you're in an accident."

The department, after seeing the interest in their officers, added an update to the photo letting everyone know that two of the officers were married, but one, "Officer Rengering (far right with the amazing hair)," was still single.

The Sarasota Police Department also got involved, posting a pic of four of their own officers with the caption, "Gainesville Police Department has nothing on us."

Several of the department's other posts are also gathering some attention from Facebook users. You can read those hilarious comments at the department's Facebook page.

For those wondering if they'll ever be able to see more of these officers, the department says, "there WILL be a calendar."
