46th Annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival taking place this weekend

The 46th Annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival will take place this weekend. 

The event will take take place at at the Mamou Recreational Center Complex on Main Street adjacent to Highway 13. 

It will kick off on Friday, September 8th at 7pm with the Cajun Tradition Band. 

On Saturday, September 9th the festivities kick off at 9am with KVPI Live Broadcast and the Cajun Cowboy and The Stirrups. 

11:15am -1:15pm: Kajun Craze 

1:30pm-3:30pm: Jason Fry and Lagniappe 

3:00pm: Honoree Presentation and Reggie Matte 

3:45pm-5:30pm: The Jambalaya Cajun Band 

5:45pm-7:30pm: Paul Daigle and Cajun Gold 

Admission is $7/day for people 12 years and older.
