Posted: Updated:

Det. Billy McCauley of the St Landry Parish Sheriff's Office returns to Crime Stoppers and is asking for your help in a rash of vehicle burglaries.
On August 2, 2017, St Landry Parish Sheriff's Office responded to 4 vehicle burglaries on the 200 block of Annointing Drive in the Opelousas area.  Stolen in the burglaries was a wide variety of items including Ipads and laptops.

Surveillance video was able to capture a black male suspect walking underneath a carport around 2:30 am.  The suspect is described as a young black male subject wearing a backpack. Two additional suspects are seen looking through other vehicles on the property.

Some of the vehicles were once again left unlocked; law enforcement reminds you to secure your vehicle by locking your doors.
