Detective Marcus Bergeron of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office and Crime Stoppers are asking for help in locating three stolen recreational vehicles from the Lawtell area.

On July 5 a black 2016 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster was reported stolen on Hwy 190.  Deputies also reported that on July 29 a 2008 Isuzu Red Quad King ATV was stolen along with a camouflage trailer on Hwy 358.

Most recently on August 13, deputies again responded to Hwy. 358 in reference to a stolen motorcycle.

Earlier in the week the owner noticed a blue and grey truck possibly a Ford –F-150 driving slowly in front of his home.  The truck was occupied by a black man and a white man; they said they were looking for a friend. But when the victim asked the friend's name, they quickly drove away.

Stolen was a yellow 2007 Suzuki GSXR 1000 bearing Louisiana license plate MC544543.  The total loss of value is listed at  more than $22,000.
