In Rayne, sand and sandbags will be available at 1:00 p.m. until they run out on (today) June 20 at the Frog Festival Grounds Pavilion. Please enter from the East side (by the Health Center).

Sandbag locations for Evangeline Parish residents have not been opened as of 10:30 a.m. June 20, 2017. The Police Jury is currently in meetings and is set to make a decision later Tuesday afternoon. Ville Platte is opening one locations for their residents. See below:
Sandbags are available for pick up Tuesday, for citizens living in the city limits, at the Ville Platte City Barn on Hickory St.
The City of New Iberia will have sand bags available to the public from 8 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Today. The filled bags will be handed out at 907 Fulton Street. The city asks that residents approach the facility from the the North Street side in order to ease access and aid in traffic flow.
Due to the potential chance of heavy rains during the next several days, Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard would like to announce that sand bags are available at the following locations:

Coteau Fire Station
Rynella Fire Station
Delcambre City Barn
Lydia Fire Station
Shovels will not be provided, and residents should be prepared to fill their own sandbags.

Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) reminds Lafayette Parish residents that the local sandbag stations are open year-round.
People wishing to sandbag their property may access sandbags at one of two locations:
North District sandbagging is located at 400 N Dugas Road (located off North University Ave.)
South District sandbags will be available at 1017 Fortune Road in Youngsville.
The two sites are "self-bagging," meaning the bags and sand are provided to Lafayette Parish residents free, at no charge, but residents will need to supply their own manpower and shovel. Residents are asked to limit their sandbags to four bags per exterior door, with a maximum of 20 sandbags per household. Sandbags are available to Lafayette Parish residents every day during daytime hours at the two separate locations.
LCG offers the following tips to keep residents and property safe in the event of a flash flooding situation or extended heavy rain activity:
The City of Broussard will have 24 hour self serve sand and bags at the location on Polk St. behind City Hall.
There will also be bags and sand at the locations on Broadview Dr., near the Community Center and on Deer Meadow Blvd.
There are some shovels at all of these locations, however, it is recommend that residents bring their own.
Self-sandbagging site is open and will remain open at the Horse Farm Site on Iberia Street and the Parish's site on Fortune Road between Bonin and Atlas across from Fortune Hills. We ask all residents to please take this opportunity to make sure their ditches are cleared of any debris and leaves as this will clog drains.
St. Landry Parish
The low pressure system in the Gulf is increasing chances of rain over Acadiana. As a precaution, the St. Landry Parish Public Work has opened a sandbag location for residents.
Sandbags will be available at the Yambilee building, located on 1939 West Landry St. in Opelousas. The operations will begin at 7:30 a.m. and run until 8:00 p.m. this week June 19 through June 23, 2017.
The site will be a fill your own sandbag location. Residents are reminded to bring their own shovels. Sand and bags will be available.
"Parish President, W.K. Bill Fontenot, advises residents to stay weather aware this week and be prepared. Review your family and business emergency plans, check disaster supply kits, and stay tuned to local weather networks in case situations change."
Due to impending weather forecast, sandbags will be available for pickup to the residents of Eunice, LA. Pick up will be starting at 12 p.m. Noon on June 20, 2017 located at the Northwest Community Center Pavilion (651 Samuel Dr. Eunice, La 70535). This is a fill your own site. Sandbags will be available; however residents will need to bring a shovel.

St. Martin Parish
Sand bags will be available for residents of upper St. Martin Parish beginning Tuesday, June 20, 2017, from 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. until further notice at the following locations:

Ruth Bridge Barn-Ruth Bridge
Please bring a shovel and be prepared to fill your own sandbags.
St. Mary Parish
Residents must call 337-828-4100 ext 119 to be able to pick up sand bags from one of two locations in Franklin/Garden City or Bayou Vista.
The parish barns are located on Hwy 182 in Garden City on the Franklin side and on Hwy 182 by the water tower in Bayou Vista.
Sandbags are still available at the Town of Baldwin’s maintenance shop. Residents should be prepared to fill bags with their own shovels. Assistance available for the elderly and persons with disabilities. (Limited to 10 sandbags per household)
Sandbags for Franklin are available at the Public Works Complex, 1300 Iberia Street. Residents will have to fill their own bags. Sand and bags will be available in the front of the building. Please bring a shovel.
Jeff Davis Parish
As a precaution, the Jefferson Davis Parish Police Jury has made sandbags and sand available to residents of Jefferson Davis Parish. Self service sandbags and sand are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the following locations:

Residents of the Town of Gueydan in the low lying areas can get sand and bags at the city's sewer plant, located on 13th and Wilkinson Street. Bring your own shovel. City officials ask that residents use their judgement on how many bags they need, so that all town residents can get theirs.
Sand and bags are available in front of the water plant on Corine Street. Citizens must fill their own bags. Pre-filled bags are available for elderly or disabled citizens.
