Car drives into crowd of pedestrians in Times Square, one dead, several injured

NEW YORK -

NEW YORK (AP) - Car traveling through Times Square drives into a crowd of pedestrians, injuring several people.

ABC News Reports that the car appeared to catch fire after crashing. Emergency vehicles are at the scene. One person is dead and twenty-two people are reportedly injured in this incident. 

City officials are saying that this incident was an accident.

Reports from officials in New York City say that the driver of the vehicle has been arrested. The FDNY said the collision took place at 45th Street and Broadway.
