Opelousas man arrested, accused of thefts from dealerships

OPELOUSAS, La. -

An Opelousas man have been arrested by police on attempted theft warrants. 

Police say the suspect, Morion Semien was arrested today April 20,2017 without incident. Semien was wanted on warrants of Unauthorized Entry into a Place of Business and Attempted Theft for the attempted theft of rims and tires. 

Semien was responsible for multiple thefts of rims and tires from various dealerships in the city of Opelousas a press release states. The Police department is currently in the process of locating the items stolen. The public is asked that if they purchased anything from Semien to please turn those items into the police.
