Road work could cause slowdowns for motorists in Acadiana

In traffic news, more closures are in store as the LA 339 widening project continues. 

Tolson Road will close at the Verot School Road intersection a 7am today. It will remain closed until next Wednesday at 6pm. 

Detour Routes will be posted. 
    
Also today, I-10 in St. Martin Parish could have slowdowns. 

The outside eastbound lane will close from the Breaux Bridge exit to the Henderson Exit from 7am until 12pm for repairs. 

No detours are necessary--but DOTD reminds you to drive carefully where workers are present.
