Berwick Police investigate shooting that injured four

The Berwick Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting near a masonic lodge in Berwick. 

Police say the incident happened at around 10:45 p.m. Friday at a party near Sixth Street and Utah Street in Berwick. 

Police Chief James Richard says that 4 individuals were shot at the party after an argument inside the lodge. The argument then moved outside where approximately 30 rounds were fired.There were three females and one male victim in the shooting. Two females were transported to Teche Regional Medical Center. One has since been released. 

Police say the other victims were transported via Air Med to Lafayette General where they are still being treated for gunshot wounds. All four victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. 

Chief Richard says no one has been arrested. 

The shooting is still under investigation.
