Another member of the alleged Gremlins Gang has been arrested.

Kirkland Demouchet, 20, of Abbeville, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Houston earlier this month. He was transported to Abbeville and booked into the Vermilion Parish Jail on Monday, a spokesman for State Police said.

In December, 17 people were indicted on charges of racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering and criminal street gang violation. The gang is accused of operating in Acadia, Lafayette, Vermilion and St. Martin parishes.

At the time the indictment was announced, 10 of the accused gang members had been arrested. Since that time, three others have been arrested.

With Demouchet's arrest, only three accused gang members remain at large: Jerran Diggs, Travis Cooper and Jonathan Landry.

Demouchet also was wanted in connection with a June 2015 shooting that happened in Abbeville.

One suspect, 18-year-old Donald Briggs III of Abbeville, turned himself in and was booked for illegal carrying of weapons and illegal use of weapons.

Demouchet was wanted on the same charges. One victim was found at a local hospital but refused to cooperate with police. Police alleged there were at least two shootings in one night: one at intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Schlessinger streets, the other in the 800 block of South East Street.

Another accused member of the Gremlins Gang is off the streets tonight.

Darron Carter turned himself in to Abbeville Police Monday.

He's facing a number of charges for drugs and "gang activity".

He's being held on a $1 million bond.

Darron Carter walked arm in arm with his family to the front door of the Abbeville Police Department.

He had no comment as he was placed under arrest.

Things went quickly, and relatively quietly at the Abbeville Police Department. But on Darron Carter's social media pages, it was a different story. A number of images and even songs are posted to his accounts on Instagram and Soundcloud. It's accounts followed by thousands of people.

"If you see me in person, you'd be scared," says Carter in an Instagram video.

Carter has been active and vocal online, writing and rapping in a song directed at the former St. Landry Parish Deputy who called him out.

"Toss them around like rag dolls. I guess that put a lot of fear in them," says Reverend Raymond Brown, a civil rights activist, has been critical of Clay Higgins over his tone in the video that's been viewed nearly 20 million times online.

"So he's not running from the law.  He's running from someone trying to hurt him," says Brown.

With Carter's arrest, there are still four alleged gang members -- Jerran Diggs, Travis Cooper, Kirkland Demouchet and Jonathan Landry -- wanted by police. To read more about the alleged gang members, click here
