An arrest was made in St. Martin Parish Saturday morning by State Police, apparently in connection with the search for Gremlins gang members.

Aaron Carter, 21, of Abbeville was arrested just after midnight in Breaux Bridge outside of a recording studio.

Individuals at the scene say one additional person was arrested, but they did not have any affiliation with the gang.

Witnesses also claim there was a firearm in a backpack found on the roof of the structure. However, State Police did not confirm the report.

Carter was booked at the St. Martin Parish Jail on racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering and criminal street gang violence.

He was then transported to the Vermilion Parish Jail with a bond set at $1 million.
